The Vision

“Concepts” is a vibrant exploration of geometric abstraction, where form and colour dance across a pristine chipboard. By deconstructing traditional shapes into playful, independent elements, Efosa Augustine Uwadiae invites the viewer to find order within a curated sense of chaos. This three-dimensional piece is designed to bring a bright, intellectual energy to any modern office, or minimalist living area.

Artistic Details

• The Aesthetic: Six distinct, sculptural forms in a spectrum of lively acrylics—magenta, crimson, cyan, royal blue, orange, and lime green—are scattered across a stark white, textured background. Each piece features unique indentations and geometric cut-outs, creating a language of abstract symbols.
• 3D Depth: Utilising a precise mixed technique, these recycled offcuts wood elements are physically raised from the chipboard base. The resulting depth creates a sophisticated interplay of light and shadow, making the “concepts” appear as if they are floating in an expansive void.
• Craftsmanship: Every individual shape is handcrafted and meticulously sanded to a smooth finish. The laborious nature of the inlay-wood sculpture ensures that each geometric piece is perfectly formed and finished with a high-quality acrylic stain.
